Personal Description: I am friendly and open and I enjoy teaching all ages of learner. I have a lot of empathy for language learners because I also know what it is like to live in a country and not know the local language fluently because I lived in Japan for three years. I study karate, singing, dancing and Japanese in my spare time. I also like to travel and have been to many different countries. I enjoy challenges and living life to the full.

Tutoring Experience: I have completed a CELTA certificate and I am qualified to teach adult learners. I also have a Graduate Diploma in Primary Teaching and I am an intermediate school teacher in Auckalnd. I have taught EFL in Japan for 3 years to adults, high school, junior high and elementary learners.

Tutoring Approach: I like to base my teaching around the students and cater for their needs as well as strengthening all of their grammar and pronunciation. I think English needs to be taught in a balanced approach, with emphasis placed on using the language as well as learning the structure.
