Personal Description: Teaching guitar privately while studying music at the University of Auckland.
Singing coach for StarJam. Teaching students with special needs how to sing and performance skills.

Tutoring Experience: I am currently teaching for a company called Star Jam. I have been with this company almost two years. Apart from this I have taught in primary and intermediate level schools. Also private tuition from home.

Bachelor of Music, majoring in guitar and songwriting.

Guitar tuition one on one or in groups. I teach from home in Kingsland. I am available from 3pm week days and most evenings and weekends.

Guitar lessons focus on tab and notation, rhythm playing, guitar soloing, finger picking, music theory and much more!

$25 for a hour hour lesson or I can come to you for $40 for a half hour lesson.

Tutoring Approach: A one on one teaching approach is best to get maximum learning from a session. I like to assess the students guitar abilities on the first lesson to see what level they they are at. Then see what the student would like to learn from the lessons. I think it is important to spend half the class learning songs and the other half developing guitar skills. Scales, finger pattern techniques, soloing,sight reading, improv, ect.

• 2010: Third year Bachelor of Music at Auckland University. Majoring in guitar and song writing. - University of Auckland (Bachelors)
