Information About Michael

Personal Description: I am a 4th year Civil Engineering student at the University of Auckland.

Tutoring Experience: I have previously taught maths to children of all ages at NumberWorks. I have also mentored in various capacities: as deputy head prefect at high school, on university scholarship programmes and on the MATES mentoring programme tutoring in secondary schools.

Tutoring Approach: I try to explain difficult concepts by breaking them down into simplistic steps and also like to use a few worked examples.

Qualifications:
  • NCEA level 3 with Excellence
  • NZQA Scholarships in Physics (outstanding), Calculus, Chemistry and Physical Education

Availability: Weekends / Weekdays (all times)
