Personal Description: I have been teaching Economics and Business Studies for 9 years in the UK, Australia and NZ. In NZ I taught Economics NCEA 1, 2 and 3. At every school I have taught in my students have continuously gained results above national average.

Tutoring Experience: During 2009 and 2010 I tutored NCEA Economics, levels 2 & 3 to Year 12 and 13 students from a number of schools within Wellington. Each student that I tutored passed all the papers they sat.

Tutoring Approach: I tutor on a one to one basis ($40/hour) or two students at the same time who are at a similar standard ($60/hour).

My understanding of both the skills and knowledge required to pass NCEA Economics is excellent and I am able to help students reach their full potential, whether this is to gain an Achieved, Merit or Excellence.

I do this with the use of past exam papers, which students complete either during the session or at home in advance. I use a mixture of core teaching and question practice tailored to the individual students’ needs based on their subject knowledge and exam skills.

I offer tutoring in NCEA Economics 1,2 and 3, as well as Economics Cambridge Examinations and Economics IB.

All tutoring takes place at my house in Wadestown, Wellington. I tutor weekdays from 4pm onwards plus Saturday mornings.

Please note, I will be overseas from 22nd August until the 19th September 2011.
