Personal Description: I am currently a full-time teacher on the North Shore, teaching various subjects offered at Cambridge level (both IG and AS). I came to NZ 6 years ago from Singapore (I am a Singaporean married to an Englishman). I have 2 children aged 12 and 13.

Tutoring Experience: I have more than 20 years teaching and tutoring experience and have been a teacher all my life. I am a qualified English and Literature teacher and currently teach History and Geography at IG level and English and Literature at AS and A2 level.

Tutoring Approach: I am a task oriented person and set high goals for myself and my students. I am, at the same time, friendly and approachable, and believe that it is important to be motivated as this is the first step to doing well. I am an excellent motivator.

• 1987: BA (Hons) Singapore University, MA (Auckland University), Diploma in Education(Singapore) - NUS (Bachelors)
• 1988: Diploma in Education - IE (Singapore) (PGCE)
• 1995: MA - Auckland University (Masters)
